KARAKAN INVEST AWARDS FIRST CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT BONUS
Employees of the KARAKAN INVEST Group of Companies have received a bonus awarded based on the results of the calendar year for participation in internal corporate activities. This new support measure was introduced within the holding last year and has been paid for the first time.
The KARAKAN INVEST Group of Companies' social programme includes around 20 different support mechanisms for employees, such as the provision of household coal, vouchers for health resorts and summer camps for children, partial coverage of voluntary health insurance, and payments tied to holidays and work anniversaries. In April 2025, the holding’s management expanded the programme with additional support measures.
Specifically, since last year, the most active KARAKAN INVEST employees have been eligible to receive a bonus ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 RUB for participating in sports tournaments and athletic contests , creative and professional competitions, academic contests, and volunteer initiatives, provided these activities do not form part of their official job responsibilities. Employees whose initiatives aimed at developing, optimising and improving enterprise operations have been implemented, as well as those who assisted in implementing such initiatives, may also qualify for this bonus. Bonuses for corporate engagement are awarded based on employees’ activity throughout the calendar year.
In December, applications for the bonus were collected from candidates. A special commission reviewed the submissions and identified those who had earned the highest number of points (equivalent to the number of activities that met the criteria for receiving the bonus). Based on these results, the five 'prize-winning' positions were determined. Two candidates tied for fifth place based on their total points.
Bonuses for corporate engagement were paid alongside December salaries in January. Consequently, four Belovskaya Mine JSC employees (part of the KARAKAN INVEST Group of Companies) received bonuses of RUB 50,000, RUB 40,000, RUB 30,000 and RUB 20,000 respectively, while two other employees received RUB 10,000 each.
Since last year, KARAKAN INVEST employees have also been eligible to receive a bonus of between RUB 10,000 and RUB 20,000 from their enterprises upon presenting one of the distinction badges of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex. To encourage more people to complete the GTO standards, two corporate GTO festivals were held in 2025. Employees of the KARAKAN INVEST Group of Companies who earned distinction badges as a result of the first festival have already received their enterprise bonuses. Confirmation of the results of the second festival is currently pending in the form of an order from the Russian Ministry of Sport, on the basis of which corporate bonuses will be awarded to the 'medallists'.
