A ceremony marking Miners’ Day was held at the administration offices of Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC. The hard work of employees at KARAKAN INVEST Group was acknowledged with departmental, regional, municipal, trade union and corporate awards.
Deputy Head of the Belovsky Municipal District and Chairman of the Committee for Labour and Social Protection, Yevgeny Buimov; Director of Belovskaya Mine CJSC, Konstantin Grinwald; Director of BELKOMMERTS LLC, Valery Egorov; and the Chairman of the Belovsky Territorial Committee of Rosugleprof, Nikolay Tomshin, all addressed the gathering with welcoming addresses.
Four employees of the group of companies were honoured with awards presented by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in recognition of their significant personal contribution to the development of the fuel and power industry, their long-standing dedicated work, and to mark the professional holiday.
Svetlana Isakova, Head of the Coal Chemistry Laboratory at BELCOMMERCE LLC received a commendation from the Ministry. Employees of Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC were awarded certificates of honour by the Ministry of Energy: Mikhail Gorelnikov, Deputy Chief Surveying Officer of the Chief Surveying Officer’s Department; Alexei Ivanov, a BelAZ truck driver engaged in ROM coal haulage as part of the Mining and Haulage area's operation; and Timur Mukhametgalin, an excavator operator at open-pit mining area No. 2.
For their many years of diligent work and contributions to the development of the Kuzbass coal industry, the following employees of Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC were awarded the silver ‘Miners’ Valour’ badge: — Alexander Neverov, excavator operator at the open-pit mining area, and Maxim Mastikhin, excavator operator at open-pit mining area No. 2.
Valentina Baun, a laboratory assistant at the coal chemistry laboratory of BELCOMMERCE LLC, and Mikhail Shcherbinin, a truck crane operator in the motor transport and bulldozer area of Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC, were awarded Certificates of Honour from the Governor of the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass.
Thirteen employees of Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC and two employees of BELCOMMERCE LLC received certificates of honour and commendations from the Belovo Municipal District. A week earlier, six employees of KARAKAN INVEST received awards from the Belovo Urban District at a ceremony in Belovo.
Rosugleprof badges and certificates of honour were presented to 15 employees of the holding’s companies. Corporate awards — certificates of honour and commendations — were presented to staff at KARAKAN INVEST LLC, Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC and BELCOMMERCE LLC.
All the awards listed above are complemented by cash bonuses.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony for the children of employees – the winners of the annual creative competition dedicated to Miners’ Day. All contestants received certificates of appreciation and valuable prizes.
