Free trips to theaters as well as New Year gifts from the company are a long-standing
tradition and an integral part of the social program in place for employees of the KARAKAN INVEST Group of Companies. The past year was no exception.
One of the pre-holiday Saturdays saw the children of Group employees living in Belovo and the surrounding area attend the premiere of a performance inspired by the fairy tale The Scarlet Flower at the Kuzbass Drama Theatre in Kemerovo. Before the performance began, Ded Moroz (Father Frost) and Snegurochka (the snow maiden) greeted the children and organised a large circle dance with songs. KARAKAN INVEST arranged free admission to the
performance for 80 children, and the trip to the capital of the Kemerovo
Region took place under the supervision of adult chaperones.
The following weekend, a theatrical New Year's performance titled How Ded Moroz Defeated the Heat was organised especially for the children of the Group's employees at the Central House of Culture in Belovo. More than 150 children enjoyed the cheerful show. Along with bright memories, they took home sweet holiday treats.
In December, the holding company presented New Year gifts to all employees’ children under the age of 14 — nearly 800 children in total. This initiative is held annually as part of the KARAKAN INVEST social programme.
For the second year running, the KARAKAN INVEST Group of Companies ran the 'Ded Moroz Comes to Your Home' campaign. Under this initiative, the fairy-tale wizard Ded Moroz and his granddaughter Snegurochka visited the homes of employees with large families and gave gifts to their children. Many families welcomed the guests with poems, dances and return gifts. In total, more than 100 children living in the Belovsky district and the city of Belovo received gifts as part of the campaign.
