CARE IN FIGURES: KARAKAN INVEST ALLOCATES 30.7 MILLION RUBLES TO EMPLOYEE SUPPORT IN 2025
People are the core asset and driving force of the KARAKAN INVEST Group. By the end of 2025, the holding company allocated over 30.7 million rubles to fulfill social obligations to its employees. This support spans various areas, from health programs and insurance to assistance in challenging life situations.
Currently, the Group, which includes Shakhta Belovskaya CJSC mining company, BELCOMMERCE LLC trading house, and KARAKAN INVEST LLC management company employs over 1,200 people across the Kemerovo Region and Moscow.
A comprehensive range of measures is aimed at improving employee health and well-being. In 2025, 60 employees received health resort treatments in the Altai Region, and 107 workers received medical care under voluntary health insurance programs, with premiums partially covered by the company. Additionally, 111 employees working in hazardous conditions received free milk and equivalent foods valued at over 630,000 rubles. The Group also reimbursed 41 employees for travel expenses to their vacation destinations.
The holding's social program includes both direct payments and in-kind benefits: 500 people received coal allowances, and 154 employees were compensated for a portion of their home heating costs.
At KARAKAN INVEST, the principle is that caring for an employee means caring for their family. Last year, 75 children of employees stayed at summer camps under subsidized vouchers (parents paid only 20% of the cost), and over 800 children received New Year’s gifts.
The Holding supports its staff on significant dates. In observance of public holidays (February 23, March 8, Mother's Day) and Miner's Day, as well as for major personal milestones (anniversaries, childbirth, or the loss of a relative), employees received payments totaling 7.3 million rubles.
A special milestone is retirement. In 2025, 20 people received a one-time retirement benefit upon completing their careers, with total payments exceeding 4.6 million rubles.
In the event of difficult life situations, KARAKAN INVEST Group employees can apply directly to management for assistance. Last year, 24 individuals and their families received such support, totaling over 1.5 million rubles.
In 2025, the holding's social program was expanded: additional payments are now available to those who actively participate in corporate events and maintain a healthy lifestyle. By the end of the year, 36 people received bonuses totaling 569,000 rubles for earning National Fitness and Sports Program merit badges; six employees were awarded over 180,000 rubles in bonuses for high corporate engagement.
These support measures are formalized in collective bargaining agreements and labor remuneration regulations. In total, the KARAKAN INVEST Group's social program includes approximately 20 different support mechanisms and remains fully operational.
