SHAKHTA BELOVSKAYA EMPLOYEE HONORED WITH STATE AWARD BY PRESIDENT PUTIN

The ceremony for presenting state decorations of the Russian Federation took place in the St. Catherine Hall of the Kremlin. Among those honored by President Vladimir Putin was Alexey Bolbas, an excavator operator at a mining enterprise of the KARAKAN INVEST Group.
Mr. Bolbas has been with CJSC Shakhta Belovskaya since its inception more than 15 years ago. As the crew leader of the ESH 13/50 No. 426 dragline excavator, he has led his team to numerous victories in corporate professional excellence competitions, consistently exceeding production targets.
In 2024, his crew was named "Best Open-Pit Excavator Team" in the annual "Kuzbass – the Coal Heart of Russia" regional competition, which recognizes top performers across the province's mining industry.
Over the years, Alexey Bolbas has received several high-level honors, including the state award—the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland," II Degree. He has also been recognized with a Certificate of Honor and a Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, as well as the Kemerovo Region Government’s Orders "For Valiant Mining Labor," II and III Degrees.
On Thursday, May 21, prominent figures in Russian science, culture, education, healthcare, and industry alongside military personnel, agricultural workers, and representatives of public organizations received their awards directly from President Vladimir Putin.
"This ceremony is a tribute to the merits of Russia’s outstanding citizens – to their selfless work, unique talent, and incredible courage," President Putin stated during the event. "The achievements and breakthroughs of our contemporaries across various fields directly impact the development of the entire country. Their successes will serve the state and the people for many decades to come."
