Employees of the KARAKAN INVEST Group who achieved distinction badges during the company’s first Corporate Festival of the National Physical Fitness and Sports Challenge were rewarded with monetary prizes from their employers. This incentive measure was introduced this year as part of the holding’s corporate social support program.
Since April, the Group has implemented a financial reward system for employees who complete the National Physical Fitness and Sports Challenge standards and earn one of the official distinction badges. The first corporate festival took place in May at the Bogatyr Sports Complex in cooperation with the National Physical Fitness and Sports Challenge Testing Center of the Belovsky Municipal District.
The competition included various physical challenges such as short- and long-distance running, javelin throwing, long jumping, strength tests, and flexibility exercises. All participants were required to present a medical certificate confirming their fitness for the tests.
Shortly before Miners’ Day, the Holding received official orders from the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation confirming the awarding of National Physical Fitness and Sports Challenge badges. Based on these results, bonuses were paid to the medalists: nine people received 20,000 rubles for gold, 16 people received 15,000 rubles for silver, and two received 10,000 rubles for bronze.
The second KARAKAN INVEST Corporate Physical Fitness and Sports Challenge Festival is scheduled to take place in October.
